Tracking happiness posted my story on their popular Instagram account (in three posts).

(1/3) “I spent most of my life trying to please others. After I reached age 50, I realized that no one was responsible for my happiness but me. ❤️

I dropped the rocks of people-pleasing and caring more about what others thought of me than what I thought of myself.” 💪

(2/3) “I tried 50 new things in my 50th year to explore the contours of how I wanted to live the next chapter of my life. ✨

The things I tried included thrill-seeking ventures, social activities, spiritual endeavors, lifestyle changes, adventure travel, physical challenges, and learning and teaching. 🧘‍♂️⛰️🌈

I feel so free, authentic and content with who I am now and believe I am evolving into my best version.“ 🤗

(3/3) “We often are more intentional about how we spend our money than how we spend our time. I no longer do that.🔥

Time is one of our most valuable commodities. 🧐

I no longer waste it. 💪

When I am about to embark on something new, I first ask myself if I am doing it to please someone else, if it will unnecessarily deplete my energy leaving less time to do what I am really passionate about, and whether it is bringing me closer to the person I want to be. ❤️

My mission is to make the world better because I was here. ✨

Your life is happening right now!”
